Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Rich Solar Mounting Z-Bracket Set. So folks, very simple product. You're gonna get four brackets, one, two, three, four, and you're gonna have all the bolt-on installation hardware needed for the installation. You got a bunch of self tappers here with hex heads and you got a bunch of short bolts, nuts and lock washers, I'm sorry, bolts, lock nuts and washers. And again, you're gonna get these brackets.
And again, these are used for mounting the solar panel and then mounting that to whatever surface you're mounting your solar panel to. And the image on the screen there kind of shows you about what these look like when they're installed on those solar panels. They are crafted of a nice, high quality, lightweight, anodized aluminum, so you don't have to worry about rust corrosion or anything like that. Folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look together. You get four brackets made from lightweight rust-resistant aluminum so they’ll hold up great in the weather whether you’re on the road or parked long term The kit also includes all the hardware you need Self-tapping screws for the roof short bolts and lock nuts for the panel itself It’s all there in the box
What makes Z brackets special is the shape and simplicity That Z shape gives your solar panel just enough lift off the roof for airflow but still keeps things low-profile That helps reduce heat build-up and doesn’t add much height so you’re not catching extra wind while you drive
That said not every solar panel uses Z brackets If you need to tilt your panels for more sun you’d go with a tilt mount If you’re using flexible panels you might use adhesive or VHB tape instead And if your panel is portable or ground-mounted you’d use a folding stand or a pole system
But for fixed, roof-mounted setups Z brackets are one of the easiest and most reliable ways to do the job
